Focus Mode
Focus Mode is a stripped-down view that removes distractions and shows only your calendar and a simple task list.
Not the same as Live Focus / clean focus mode — that's a separate, Timeline-only feature you toggle inside the calendar view. Focus Mode is an account-level Experience Mode that changes the whole app.
What Disappears In Focus Mode
- The More menu, notifications bell, and profile menu — the header shrinks to your logo, the current date, and the mode selector.
- Calendar groups in the sidebar (the sidebar itself also collapses by default, though you can re-expand it).
- Task labels — Board's status chips collapse to just Todo/Done, and the Focus tab shows one task at a time with a single big Done button.
- Automation, External Sync, AI Agents, Personal Logs, and calendar sharing.
- The calendar's inline New Event button in the header.
What Stays Visible In Focus Mode
- Your full calendar, with Month/Week/Timeline still switchable.
- Search.
- Creating an event — via a floating + button in the bottom-right corner instead of the header.
- A Tasks button that opens a slide-in drawer with your simplified task list, without leaving the calendar.
How To Switch To Focus Mode
Open the mode selector pill in the header (or Profile → Experience) and choose Focus. The switch is instant — no PIN required.
Tips For Focus Mode Users
- Use Focus Mode during deep-work blocks when you want the calendar front and center.
- The task drawer keeps your to-do list one tap away without switching away from the calendar.
- If you need labels, due-date filters, or the Focus Sessions timer back, switch to Production Mode — nothing is lost, it's just hidden.
- Pair Focus Mode with a calm Skin if visual clutter (not just navigation clutter) is what distracts you.
