Skins & Appearance
Skins change how PrimeCal looks — colors, fonts, and spacing — without changing what you can do.
Current Available Skins
- Default — the standard PrimeCal look. No overrides.
- Kid — a bright, high-contrast, extra-large-touch-target skin, applied automatically when Kid Mode is active.
More skins are planned for a future release: teenagers, professionals, ADHD-friendly, and shared family screens. This page will be updated when they ship.
How To Change Your Skin
- Go to Profile → Experience.
- Choose a skin from the Appearance dropdown.
How Skins And Modes Interact
A Skin changes the look. A Mode changes the features. You can mix any Skin with any Mode — choosing Focus mode doesn't require a particular skin, and choosing a skin doesn't switch your mode.
Best Practices
- If a Skin feels visually busy while you're trying to concentrate, pair it with Focus Mode — the two solve different problems together.
- The Kid skin is tied to Kid Mode automatically; you don't need to select it by hand.
