All-Day Events
Some things don't happen at a specific time — they just happen on a day. A birthday, a public holiday, a trip you're taking, or an exam week for your kids. These are all-day events: they mark that the whole day is claimed or notable, without tying the event to any particular hour.
What Makes an Event "All-Day"
An all-day event:
- Has no start or end time — only a date (or a range of dates)
- Appears across the top banner of its day in Week view, separate from the timed events below
- Shows as a full-width card in Month view
- Can span multiple consecutive days (e.g., "Beach Vacation: Jul 12–17")
All-day events are perfect for:
| Use case | Example |
|---|---|
| Holidays and observances | Christmas Day, National Holiday |
| Birthdays and anniversaries | "Grandma's Birthday" |
| Multi-day trips or vacations | "Family Beach Week" |
| Deadlines (the day something is due) | "Tax return due" |
| Exam periods | "Noah's Exam Week" |
| Out-of-office days | "Will — OOO, conference" |
