Mobile App Overview
PrimeCal's mobile app brings your full calendar experience to your phone. It's the same application you use in the browser — adapted for touch, sized for a screen in your pocket, and available offline.
What the Mobile App Offers
- Full calendar access — all your calendars, events, shared family/team calendars
- Month view with event dots for at-a-glance scheduling
- Week view with scrollable time slots and tap-to-create
- Focus view showing your current and next event live
- Bottom navigation bar for quick switching between sections
- Swipe gestures — swipe left/right to move between days or weeks
- Touch-optimized controls — all touch targets are at least 44px for comfortable tapping
- Pull-to-refresh — drag down on any view to sync the latest events
iOS and Android
PrimeCal is available for both major mobile platforms:

Mobile Navigation
On mobile, the main navigation moves to a bottom tab bar with up to 5 tabs. Which tabs appear depends on your subscription plan and which features are enabled:
- Calendar — your main calendar workspace
- Tasks — quick task capture and management (requires task_management feature)
- Automation — manage automation rules (requires automation feature)
- Profile — your account settings
Mobile vs. Web
The mobile app and web app share the same data and features. A few differences exist in how they present information:
- Month view on mobile shows compact event dots instead of full event cards
- The sidebar is accessed via a slide-out drawer rather than always visible
- The bottom tab bar replaces the horizontal top navigation

Staying In Sync
The mobile app syncs with your PrimeCal account automatically. Events you create on your phone appear on the web immediately, and vice versa. External calendar syncs (Google, Outlook) also run on the same schedule whether you're on mobile or web.
May checks the Late Family calendar on her phone throughout the day — when Will adds an event from his laptop, it appears on May's phone within seconds. No manual refresh needed.
