Apple Calendar and CalDAV

CalDAV is not supported

PrimeCal does not provide a CalDAV server. There is no CalDAV URL to connect Apple Calendar, Thunderbird, or any other CalDAV client to, and no app-specific password to generate.

PrimeCal also has no .ics file import or export today — see iCalendar Export and Import.

The two supported ways to connect an external calendar are Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 / Outlook, both over OAuth. See External Sync for the full picture.

If your calendar lives in Apple Calendar​

Apple Calendar is a client, not a calendar service — the events it shows are stored somewhere behind it. What you can do depends on where that is:

  • Your Apple Calendar shows a Google account — connect that Google account to PrimeCal directly. See Google Calendar Sync. Nothing needs to go through Apple.
  • Your Apple Calendar shows an Outlook or Microsoft 365 account — connect that account. See Microsoft 365 Sync.
  • Your events are in iCloud only — there is no direct route today. iCloud is not one of the supported sync providers, and without CalDAV or .ics import there is no file-based path either. The practical workaround is to move the events into a Google or Microsoft calendar first (both accept an .ics export from Apple Calendar), then connect that account to PrimeCal.

If your calendar lives in Thunderbird​

Same principle: connect the underlying Google or Microsoft account to PrimeCal rather than Thunderbird itself.

Reading PrimeCal events in another app​

This direction is not available yet either. PrimeCal has no CalDAV endpoint, no .ics download, and no public subscribe feed, so there is currently no way to display your PrimeCal calendar inside Apple Calendar or Thunderbird.
