Using the Notification Inbox
The Notification Center (/app/notifications) is a searchable, filterable inbox, not just a
drop-down list. This page covers the inbox screen itself — for what gets delivered where and how
priority is decided, see Notification Preferences.
Searching and Filtering
Along the top of the inbox:
- Search — filters notifications by text as you type.
- Class filter — show only specific priority classes: Critical, Time-critical, Coordination, Operational, or FYI. Select as many as you want; leave all unselected to see everything. See How Priority Works for what each class means.
- State filter — quickly switch between All, Unread, and Needs action (items with an outstanding inline action, like an unconfirmed Critical alert or a pending Claim).
Bundling
When two or more non-critical notifications land in the same time window, the inbox groups them into a single bundled row instead of listing each one separately — for example, three "Automation rule executed" notifications from the same busy hour. Critical notifications are never bundled; they always stay visible on their own.
Expand a bundle to see and act on the individual notifications inside it.
Acting on a Notification
Each row shows one primary action when the data makes it unambiguous (for example, Confirm on a time-critical alert). Everything else — Mark as read/unread, Mark as done/not done, Snooze…, and Restore (for archived items) — is available from the row's action menu.
See Inline Actions for what each action type does across notification classes.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple notifications (checkbox on each row) to act on them together — mark several as read, archive a batch, or snooze a group at once — rather than handling each one individually.
